Welcome/Mission

A Warm Welcome to Edlesborough School

Edlesborough School is a happy and successful school located at the heart of the thriving village of Edlesborough in Buckinghamshire. The School currently has 230 pupils aged 4 – 11, drawn mainly from the villages of Edlesborough, Northall, Dagnall and Ivinghoe Aston. Originally a Victorian school, Edlesborough now has spacious modern classrooms and extensive grounds including a wildlife area and pond, vegetable gardens and a large playing field, enabling our children to enjoy sports and outdoor learning.

Our Vision

Edlesborough School provides a warm and caring environment where every child matters and the social, emotional and personal development of our children is a priority. We believe that children achieve the most when they are happy and secure. At the heart of our ethos is a passion for learning and a commitment to motivate, challenge and equip all learners with the skills and attitudes that they need for life in a rapidly changing world. We aim to enable all pupils to reach their potential and become independent, self motivated learners. The school has strong community links and we believe firmly in developing well-rounded, outward-looking individuals with a sense of responsibility for their world and each other.

At Edlesborough School children are encouraged to strive for excellence in every area of school life and our staff and governors are committed to enabling each child to be a successful learner, a confident individual and a responsible citizen of the 21st Century.
